Your tickets are changing in 2026

Important ticket update!

In the 2026 Season there is an important update coming to how you access your game tickets for Optus Stadium.

We know this is a big change but don't worry we're here to help! This guide will tell you everything you need to know for the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

What's changing?

Tickets in the Ticketmaster or Fremantle Dockers app will now feature rotating barcodes that refresh every 15 seconds meaning screenshots will no longer work when scanning at the gates.

Tickets saved to your Apple or Google Wallet with now feature an NFC tag which acts the same as tap and go contactless payment. Each gate at Optus Stadium has been fitted out with both touch points, meaning that your digital ticket is now safer and easier to access when saved to your phone Wallet.
